DIMAPUR: Zuketsa Area Public Organization (ZAPO) observed ‘Sanitation Day’ within its jurisdiction on July 18.
ZAPO president Kedoutsolhi Wetsah informed that all affiliated units positively responded to the call by conducting social work in their respective villages and surroundings.
He highlighted that Sanitation Day plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment, improving health, beautifying the area, preventing diseases, removing accumulated waste, and enhancing the overall quality of life. He added that such initiatives also support economic development while upholding dignity and safety in the community.
