ZAYO’s open penalty shootout tournament concludes at Zuketsa

DIMAPUR, OCT 2 (NPN)

Open Penalty Shootout Tournament, organized by the Zuketsa Area Youth Organization (ZAYO), concluded on October 1 at Zuketsa, Phek district under the theme “Oneness through sports,” The event was graced by president, Zuketsa Area Public Organization (ZAPO) Kedoutsolhi Wetsah.
Altogether, 27 teams participated in the open tournament, drawing enthusiastic crowds and strong engagement from youth and sports enthusiasts across the region.
Highlanders ‘C’ Pfutsero emerged as the champion, securing the title and a cash prize of Rs. 30,000, sponsored by Wepre Wetsah, Kulo Akami, and Er. Wecie Lomi.
The runner-up team, Strike Force, was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 20,000, sponsored by the staff of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Phek.
