DIMAPUR: The Zeliangrong Baudi (N), in a statement on the status of the Zeliangrong Youth Organization of Nagaland (ZYON) and Zeliangrong Youth Front Nagaland (ZYFN), has stated that ZYON has been the formally authorised, recognised and approved Zeliangrong youth organisation in Nagaland since its formation in 2019.
According to ZB(N), ZYON is mandated to exercise civic functions, community responsibilities and structural portfolios representing Zeliangrong youth under the directives of ZB(N).
It stated that the organisational position was explicitly reaffirmed during an executives’ meeting on June 24, 2021, with representatives of the Nagaland Zeliangrong People’s Organisation (NZPO) and ZB(N) frontal units.
The same position was reinforced during the Baudi Nagaland Dimki proceedings held on September 4, 2026, at Gaili village, it added.
ZB(N) further stated that the ZYFN has been reprobated and proscribed by the Baudi Nagaland Dimki until an official amalgamation between ZYON and ZYFN is fully realised.
