The monthly District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Zunheboto was held at Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall on March 13, under the chairmanship of DC & v/chairman DPDB, Rahul Bhanudas Mali.
According to a DIPR report, the sitting began with review of previous meeting minutes and introduction of new board members. Further, the board deliberated on the agenda for registration of Chophimi Kuposhukulu Naghuto Old & New Society, which was approved and forwarded to the concern authority for final approval.
The ADC Atoizu, Nukutulu Venuh through the EAC Atoizu, Dr Samuel Akho Konyak resubmitted proposal for the construction EAC quarter at Atoizu. Supplementing to the proposal, EAC highlighted the board members of the deplorable conditions of other government buildings as well, which cannot be utilised for sorts of usages, and the hardship faced by the officers posted. The DPDB members approved the proposal with priority for further procedures.
ADC Zunheboto, Japhet Woch while reiterating his previous address to the board, encouraged the board members to be more sincere towards the highest decision-making meeting for the district.
He further appealed to all the HoDs to be personally present for the meeting and refrain from sending a representative, who isn’t technically entitled to attend DPDB meeting, he stated.
The meeting concluded with Deputy Commissioner directing LRD and CVO departments for PowerPoint presentations in the April DPDB meeting.
