Zunheboto Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ZCCI), on February 5 has handed over “grant-in-aid” personally to all the 3 fire victims whose shops were completely gutted down in November last.
After the handing over of cash to the victims, a 3-hourlong general meeting was held under the chairmanship of ZCCI president Shikahoto Jakha and recorded by Akashe K Achumi ZCCI secretary information.
The 3-hour long meeting was attended by more than 200 business community ;ranging from the Paan Shop, clothes outlets, stores till the wholesaler/retailers shop owners.
During the meeting, it has discussed on renewal of trade/ shop license; sanitation; taxation; ZCCI registration drive; online taxation and several other issues confronting the Zunheboto business community.
The house has adopted 4 point resolutions wherein it decided to pay Rs 20 sanitation fee to the Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC); Objected the “Online Taxation” owing to poor and dull connectivity of data/net Network (s);
All shops/ business registration under the apex ZCCI (Registration Drive); and
To approach the concerned authority for reduction of commercial vehicles fare and hire charges. (The resolution was approved by more than 200 signatories/ businessman/ shop owners).
Earlier, ZCCI president handed over the cash “grant-in-aid” to Avika Kiba, Easter Kiba and Lalita respectively.
