Zeme Council Nagaland issues directive on land registration

Zeme Council Nagaland (ZCN) has notified that all individuals and groups who have purchased land or received land through gift deed within Peren District (Zeme jurisdiction) to register the land with their respective village council within 90 days.
In a press release, ZCN president, Ernest Sephe and general secretary, Namyising, informed landowners to obtain a land holding certificate from the concerned village council and submit the same to the ZCN in duplication. ZCN cautioned that failure to comply within the stipulated period will be treated as non-compliance.
