Zeme Council, North East (ZCNE) has congratulated T.R. Zeliang who would be completing one year on May 24 as the Nagaland chief minister.
In a press note, ZCNE president Raitu Elu Ndang, said T.R. Zeliang “despite heavy storm of political unrest in the state”, was to complete one year as the chief minister.
The council said Zeliang’s undaunted spirit and the unflinching support by his colleagues and DAN partners have brought the government thus far. Stating that the Zeme community has expressed sincere appreciation and gratitude to the entire Naga populace for reposing faith and trust on his leadership, ZCNE said “Nagas in general and the Zeme community in particular looks forward that peace and development takes the lead under the dynamic leadership” of T.R Zeliang.
The council further conveyed best wishes and prayed that Almighty God grant him wisdom and good health as he continues to serve the people base on the principles of Truth and Justice.
