Advisor Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Zhaleo Rio, undertook a two-day inspection of projects implemented under SASCI and maintenance schemes for the financial years 2024-25 and 2025-26 in Chümoukedima and Dimapur districts on April 10 and 11, accompanied by officials of the Urban Development Department.
On April 10, the advisor visited the proposed Nagaki City at Chathe Valley and projects under Medziphema, where he expressed satisfaction with the quality and progress of works.
Continuing his inspection on April 11, Zhaleo assessed various road projects in Chümoukedima and Dimapur, including the Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant under construction at Shuzokhu. He directed department officials and contractors to ensure timely completion while maintaining quality workmanship.
The advisor further informed that similar inspection visits would be carried out across the State to monitor progress and uphold standards of work.
