Zeliangrong Mipui Organization (N) has strongly condemned the allegations of molestation and sexual harassment leveled against Joint Secretary Reny Wilfred, IAS, during his tenure at the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN).
In a press release, ZMO (N) expressed concern that t Wilfred, who is also facing trial in the Noklak sexual assault case, continues to hold the position of Joint Secretary, Finance, despite the serious accusations and an ongoing investigation.
ZMO (N) said such situation, underscores a systemic failure in ensuring the safety of women in workplaces. Reaffirming its commitment to fighting for the dignity and rights of women, ZMON pledged to stand in solidarity with all survivors of gender-based violence.
The organization also appealed to the concerned authorities to expedite legal proceedings, ensuring justice be delivered in accordance with the law.
