Zisaji Presidency College (ZPC), Kiphire National Service Scheme (NSS) unit observed its foundation day on September 22 under the theme “sharing of responsibility through social service”.
A press note by NSS Kiphire stated that ZPC principal Helen Jamir, in her keynote address, stated that NSS was a voluntary association without profit but selfless dedication and service to the community for creating awareness within the college campus and its surrounding in general for the upliftment of the society.
An exhortation was delivered by Gagan Chandra Mishra, HoD political science in the programme chaired by Thoshusie katiry, program officer, NSS who also gave welcome address. A special song was presented by Marlen Y. Sangtam, dance from Akumba and male voice from NSS volunteer. A brief report of NSS activities was shared by Thsoshethe and speech on behalf of NSS volunteer was delivered by Tsaliba Thonger.
