Zisaji Presidency College (ZPC), Kiphire, department of political science, Nagaland organized welcome ceremony first of its kind in the college on May 21.
At the programme, Thomas Y. Kiutsangmong, first successful honours graduate of the department who had successfully cleared the NPSC examination and presently serving as station superintendent, department of NST, Kiphire shared his experience on college days in the department.
He encouraged the students not to deviate from their goal and stick to the principle of hard work and perseverance. He also encouraged the students to help each other and coordinate with the faculty members to achieve their targets.
Meanwhile, head of department Gagan Chandra Mishra encouraged the students to develop a group work to accomplish their goals and lead the department and institution by setting example individually before making a step to their world of success.
The programme also highlighted introduction of the freshers’. Earlier the programme was chaired by assistant professor Wekhrote-u Wezah, welcome address was delivered by Theose Sangtam on behalf of the seniors and vote of thanks was delivered by Daniel Sangtam.
