ZPO, OMC Jalukie condemns

ZPO: Zeliang People’s Organisation, Nagaland (ZPO) has condemned the despicable, dastardly and senseless act of murdering late Akiam, an elderly widow of Mpai village at her residence in Jalukie town by unidentified person on the night of January 1.  Condemning the act, ZPO stated that it is also the bounden responsibility of every right thinking citizen to vehemently condemn such abominable and devilish act of cowardice and violence prevailing in the society. It also asked all to assist the law enforcing mechanism, in every possible way to expedite the investigation and book the perpetrator. Further, ZPO had also extended solidarity and immense sympathy to the bereaved family.
OMC Jalukie: Old Market Colony, Jalukie town has expressed shock over the gruesome murder of late Akaim by unidentified miscreants on January 2 who later succumbed to her injuries. 
In a press release chairman of Ward 4, Hauneu Hiekha and GB Ward 4, Heloiying described late Akaim as a peaceful senior citizen and asserted that it was a despicable murder which could be committed only by insane beings adding that such crime had no place in Naga society.  Condemning the heinous crime, the colony has also appealed the administration and police to give full effort in the investigation and award befitting punishment to the culprits. The colony further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and relatives
