Zeliangrong Students’ Union Delhi (ZSUD) organized seminar cum career exploration day, designed to inspire and empower students through informative sessions and interactive discussions. The event featured distinguished professionals from diverse fields who engaged with students on topics critical to academic growth, mental wellness, career preparation, and civic awareness.
A press release by ZSUD informed that key highlights included talks by Wairokpam Punshiba Singh, on the topic, “Competitive Exams”, Deputy Director, DHTI, SH Sumit Aggarwal, on the topic, “Finance Education”, AOR, Supreme Court of India, Gaichangpou Gangmei, on the topic, “Legal Awareness”, Associate Professor, DU, Dr. Avitoli G. Zhimo, on the topic, “Academics”, SR, Dept. of Psychiatry, AIIMS, Dr. Arnab Datta, on the topic, “Mental Health Awareness”, and Joint Director, Air Staff CGHQ, Comdt. Ronald Gangmei, on the topic, “Armed Forces as a Career”.
A debate competition was also conducted judged by, Assistant Professor, ARSD, DU, Dr. Achingliu Kamei, Assistant Professor, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, DU, Sinchuilung Gangmei, and Dr. Haineube Newme, Ph.D., JNU.
The programme was moderated by Sirailiu Nring and Saulule Riame, opening prayer led by Caleb Mpamei, and welcome address by president, ZSUD, Janet Riamei.
