
YouthNet in association with youth department, Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church (ZTSBC) organised a job fair in the church premises on May 25.
A press release from Bombo K Yeptho media supervisor Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church stated that, Hutoni Shohe, HR executive YouthNet Dimapur and Tsepila Zhimomi, supervisor Nagaland Job Centre (NJC) NCDC YouthNet were the resource persons for the day.
130 unemployed youths who registered for the programme were given intensive orientation about career opportunities in private sector and training programmes imparted by YouthNet to equip job seekers.
Recruiters from O2 Spa invited the unemployed youths to join the industry. The orientation and counselling was followed by an open forum after which there was document verification and spot admission of interested job seekers.
Earlier, in the programme chaired by Aketo Yeptho, youth leader, pastor Rev. Dr. Daniel Chishi offered the opening prayer and encouraged youths to be self-reliant. Closing prayer was offered by Julie Chishi.
