Zunheboto battalion, Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 7 sector, HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) organised a motivational lecture for cadets of National Cadet Corps (NCC) to motivate them in joining armed forces on December 2 at Battalion Hq Zunheboto.
According to DIPR report, during the programme, information on various entries in army and guidance for the preparation were disseminated. Cadets also inquired about the procedures of service selections board interviews an CDS examination, during the interaction.
Later, small arms firing exposure was given to the cadets, in which they learnt and fired 5.56 MM Insas Rifle at unit firing range.
