ZYON keeps proposed agitation in abeyance

Staff Reporter DIMAPUR, OCT 9 (NPN)

Zeliangrong Youth Organization Nagaland (ZYON) has decided to keep its proposed agitation in abeyance until the court’s first hearing in connection with Pimla murder case.
Addressing the media after a meeting with the commissioner of police Dimapur on Thursday, ZYON president R. John Zeliang said the decision was taken following positive developments in the case. He informed that the forensic science laboratory (FSL) report has been received by the police, adding that an additional chargesheet has also been submitted.
John Zeliang stated that the organization would await the court’s first hearing, which was tentatively scheduled for next month, before deciding its next course of action.
He, however, informed that if the organization was not satisfied with the outcome of the hearing, it would resume the third phase of its agitation.
