25 Nagaland Bn NCC conducts ‘Vibrant Village’ at Phomching

The 25 Nagaland Battalion NCC, Mokokchung, conducted a “Village Vibrant” programme at Phomching HQ village in Mon district on June 16.
According to PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence,
Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh, the programme witnessed enthusiastic participation of 50 NCC cadets along with instructors and administrative staff. As part of the outreach, the cadets carried out a walk-through of the remote border village and interacted with residents to promote awareness on Indigenous culture, traditions, and various government welfare schemes.
In a gesture of respect, the cadets presented traditional gamchas to the oldest male and female elders of the village as a mark of appreciation. The programme helped foster community bonding, cultural pride, and national integration in the region.
