Patton campaigns for Tokheho

Deputy chief minister and home minister, Y. Patton on May 25, campaigned for People’s Democratic Alliance’s (PDA’s) candidate for Lok Sabha election, Tokheho Yepthomi at Wokha town.
A press release by deputy CMO media cell stated that Patton in his maiden meeting with colony chairmen, GBs and leaders of Wokha Town claimed that “all the districts in the state have decided to give unflinching support to the PDA candidate and that Tokheho would win the by-election with a thumping majority”.
He said PDA decided to field Tokheho, a senior and seasoned leader as its consensus candidate, and urged upon the colony leaders of Wokha Town colonies in particular and Wokha district in general to give full support to the PDA candidate. Patton also advised them to take this “ample opportunity to ask for development of the district to the government”. The release stated that out of 28 colonies in Wokha Town, representatives and leaders from 24 colonies attended the meeting.
