Leader of Opposition, T.R Zeliang, has expressed pain at the untimely demise of Naga Peoples’ Front (NPF) central youth wing, general secretary, Thangkeng Khonsai on the night of May 26. In a condolence message, Zeliang said late Thangkeng served the NPF with commitment and sincerity and was an upright man whose contributions to the party and Naga Society would ever be remembered. Zeliang along with his family has extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the Almighty God grant peace and solace to all his family members, friends and relatives and eternal peace to the departed soul.
Dr Shürhozelie: NPF president, Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu along with the central youth wing office bearers, rank and file of the party have expressed pain at the untimely demise of late Thangkeng Khonsai. In a condolence message, Dr. Shurhozelie described late Thangkeng as an honest and an upright youth leader who possessed a lively personality. NPF has extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty to grant solace and comfort to all the near and dear ones of late Thangkeng.
