Properties worth Rs. 27 L destroyed in inferno

Properties worth around Rs. 27lakhs was destroyed in an inferno at Tuzatsu village, Phek on September 29. 
In a press release, Tuzatsu Village Council (TVC) chairman, Vekhosa Chizo and secretary, Mudoveyi Chizo said the fire suspected to be caused due to short circuit gutted down a house, apart from destroying properties, paddies, timbers, etc. 
TVC said, the villagers tried to contain from further damage but could not manage, since there was no fire fighting materials available. 
It further appealed to the concern authority to verify the case and extend necessary assistances to the victim family.
