Army chopper crashes after take-off in Dmu

In what could have been a major disaster, two pilots and a high ranking army official on board the Army Cheetah helicopter that crashed on Monday seconds after taking off from Rangapahar Military Station helipad in Dimapur, escaped unhurt.
The Army chopper  crashed nose down from a height of about 10-12 feet on the ground at 9.30 a.m., Defence PRO in Shillong, Amit Mahajan said. 
According to a defence official, the Army helicopter (hepter) was on a routine sortie. The helicopter was damaged. However, the two pilots and the army official on board miraculously escaped unhurt in the crash, the official said. An inquiry has been ordered into the incident, the official added.
