Englan Range Students’ Union (ERSU) has successfully held its 25th general conference on January 24 on the theme “Be a forerunner of paradigm shift” at Yikhum village with Assistant Prof. Renthungo Patton (Dept. of Eco., Mt. Tiyi Colege, Wokha), as the chief guest and Thungrhomo Odyuo, Headmaster of GHS Englan, as the speaker.
The Union expressed gratitude to the chief guest for donating Rs 25,000 towards the conference and also thanked all individuals, groups, churches, councils, volunteers for the physical, material, morally and financial assistance towards successful conduct of the general conference.
Further, the Union has elected new office bearers for tenure 2015-’17 headed by Thungjamo Humtsoe as president, Rhanbemo Patton as general secretary, Abenthung Jungio as finance secretary along with other members.
