Tsiesema battalion of Assam Rifles (AR) under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted an interaction with GBs of Zadhima-I, Zadhima-II, Ziezou and Old Phekerkriema village under Chiephobozou sub division. Informations regarding the army recruitment rally to be conducted in second week of April at Tuensang as well as the welfare schemes run by the govt were disseminated.
De-worming camp at Mkg: Assam Rifles (AR) Mokokchung battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) conducted a de-worming camp at Mokokchung. The aim of the event was to free the children of the menace of worms in tune with the Govt of India initiative to curb the same. 168 children, (5 -19) years of age were de wormed with medical aid.
Medical camp at New Jaboka : Tizit Battalion, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) conducted a medical camp on February 18, at New Jaboka.
The aim of the med camp was to provide medical treatment to the needy people of remote areas of New Jaboka & adjoining villages. New Jaboka is a remote village located in the eastern most corner of Nagaland.
Altogether, 312 patients to include 95 male, 128 female & 89 children were treated during the camp.  Free medical check-up & medicines were provided along with guidance on personal hygiene. A lecture was also delivered to raise awareness on issue of drug menace and AIDS. 
Medical camp at Chimonger : Zunheboto battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a “Free Medical Camp” at Chimonger village Tuensang district on February 19.
According to AR Zunheboto battalion, the aim of the medical camp in remote village Chimonger, devoid of quality healthcare facilities was to provide free medical assistance and medicines. 203 villagers were given required health check up and medicines.
Lecture cum awareness programme on HIV/AIDS: Mokokchung battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a lecture-cum-awareness programme at Mokokchung town on February 14.
According to AR Mokokchung battalion, during the lecture medical officer Assam Rifles captain, Saurav Dhand educated the youth on the causes, symptoms and preventive measures of HIV/AIDS. The event concluded with refreshments for the villagers and with a promise to spread the message to the remote areas of the region.
Medical camp at Ghukiye: Zunheboto battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a “Medical Camp” at Ghukiye village under Zunheboto district on February 15.
According to AR Zunheboto battalion, the aim of the medical camp was to provide free medical assistance to the villagers of Ghukiye and nearby villages.  Apart from the medical assistance, basic knowledge on epidemic diseases and precautions against them were also imparted to the villagers. Free medicine was also provided to the ailing.  A total of 139 patients were examined at the medical camp.
AR conducts debate competition at Darogajan: Dimapur battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised a debate competition under the theme “HIV/AIDS awareness” at Governmentt Middle School Darogajan, Dimapur on February 15 with an aim to spread awareness on HIV/AIDS and its prevention measures. 40 students participated in the competition wherein the top six performers were received awards
