A felicitation programme for HSLC & HSSLC successful candidate of the students of Peren community was jointly organised by Peren Council, Peren Govt. Employees’ Union, Peren Baptist Mipui Nkwa, Peren Youth Federation and Peren Students’ Union (PSU) on June 4 at Peren Baptist Mipui Kangbau Hall, Peren Town.
According to a press release from PSU president, Rampauyi Ndang, the main speaker of the programme, Dr. Ndangkie Ndang, secretary, Peren Council congratulated the students on their success in the HSLC and HSSLC examinations. He exhorted and encouraged the students to be assets and not liabilities for society.
He stated that the students ought to give back to society what they learnt throughout their process of education. Dr. Ndangkie also asked the student community to follow their hearts desire in choosing their careers.
Dr. Zieleigai Ndang, president, Peren Govt. Employees’ Union felicitated the students by presenting a gift to the students as a sign of gratitude and encouragement. The successful candidates were blessed by the pastors Rev. Suitei, Dr. Hiazuheing and Hiarwa Sephe.
At the programme, a special number was also presented by Lungsigong and his colleagues. The programme was chaired by Rampauyi and P David. The vote of thanks and benediction was delivered by Kiezeuh Sephe and Hiarwa Sephe respectively.
