NDPP Tening town unit has drawn attention to the delay in construction of Tening-Lekie road, sanctioned since August 2019 by ministry of DONER under North East Road Sector Development Scheme (NERSDS).
A press release from NDPP Tening town unit president stated that, the people of Tening area has been anxiously waiting for the work to commence at the earliest. However, it was learnt that due to some legal issue, finalisation of the tendering process is still pending, whereby the unit has appealed to government/department on behalf of the people of Tening area to look into the matter urgently so that work will start at an early date.
Unit also requested the individual/groups involved in delaying the work to pave way for smooth commencement of the long awaited project.
