PVHSS observes Maghi Purnima-cum-farewell programme

Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS) Dimapur observed Maghi Purnima and bade farewell to four of its senior teachers, founder headmaster, Lakshman Chandra Das and Navojyoti Datta, senior teachers of the institution, Ratna Bhattacharjee and Renuka Roy Chowdhury on January 31.
    They were also honoured for their services rendered to the institution during their tenure.
Earlier, the programme began with universal peace prayer and traditional garlanding of the portrait of Pranabanandaji Maharaj and floral tribute to founder secretary, late Manik Bhattacharjee and his associate members followed by lighting of the lamp.
Introductory speech was delivered by principal PVHSS, Monoj Bhattacharjee, parting valediction by assistant teacher, Priti Bhattacharya and an ex-student of the school. Other speeches were delivered by students and teachers of the institutions.
The programme concluded with blessings by secretary Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School  and in-charge Bharat Sevashram Sangha Dimapur and Karbi-Anglong district Assam, Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj.
