Tuensang DTF to release returnees from green zone

Tuensang District Task Force for COVID-19 held a meeting at DC conference hall on June 1, with DC Kumar Ramnikant as chairperson. 

According to DIPR report, the forum discussed on releasing the second batch inmates from green zone quarantine centres, wherein total number of 36 individuals, namely 6 females and 3 males from Abigail Hostel Longkhim and 16 males and 11 females from Setam Polytechnic quarantine facilities who has completed 14 days of quarantine period will be released on June 1. They will all be released with medical certifications and standing orders in case they face problems while entering villages and wards, after which seven more days of home quarantine shall be mandatory for each. Medical team will be supervising each one of them. Report on visiting engineers for the construction and installation of BSL-2 laboratory at Tuensang was also discussed. House also discussed on the emergency retesting of the returnees from the red zone and decided to request further tests on priority.
