In a letter to the chief general manager I/C contracts & procurement NEEPCO Limited, the LOU, DHEP president Rhanbemo Odyuo and general secretary P Roland Ezung stated that cancellation was “specifically humiliation and clearly prevailed the truth of step motherly treatment to the Doyang Hydro-Electric Plant by the Corporation for decades.”

Stating that being a stakeholder of the prestigious project, LOU, DHEP said it was the responsibility and bound duty of the union to safeguard the interest of the land affected owners and welfare of the plant.

Failure to comply with the demand, the LOU, DHEP cautioned that it would not be held responsible whenever any untoward situations arose in the Doyang Hydro-Electric Plant, Doyang, Wokha.
