Darogapathar Village Council (DVC), Darogapathar Youth Organisation, Quick Reaction Team and the Business Association of Darogapathar Village(BAD) has strongly condemned the, alleged, verbal threats against the life of the joint secretary of BAD, Renchothung Odyuo, by one ‘col.’ Kekhato claiming to be from FGN for refusing to pay tax. A condemnation note signed by DVC chairman, Nungtok Jamir, said that all such taxes had been banned within its jurisdiction, as published in local dailies. They questioned the high-handed motives of such individuals “especially in the name of Naga National Movement” and requested the highest authorities to book the concerned person at the earliest possible time.
