A coordination meeting was held in Zunheboto on June 5, 2025, led by Deputy Commissioner Dharam Raj, to prepare for the upcoming Dharti Aaba Abhiyan awareness and benefits saturation camp, scheduled from June 15 to June 30, 2025.
The meeting focused on two key government initiatives—PM JANMAN and DA JGUA—which aim to improve infrastructure and services for tribal communities. Unlike traditional awareness campaigns, this initiative will deliver entitlements directly through village and cluster-level camps. Benefits will include Aadhaar cards, Ration cards, Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) cards, Caste and Domicile certificates, Kisan Credit Cards (KCC), PM-KISAN, Jan Dhan Accounts, Insurance schemes (PMJJBY/PMSBY), Social Security benefits, Employment and Livelihood schemes, and Women & Child Welfare services.
The DC urged all departments, local authorities, and frontline workers to collaborate closely for the effective implementation of the campaign and ensure tribal families receive the necessary benefits.
Meanwhile, in Mon, a review meeting was held on June 6, 2025, chaired by ADC Pakon Phom. The meeting assessed preparations for the same campaign, focusing on ensuring smooth on-the-ground delivery of entitlements at the village and cluster levels. Pakon Phom emphasized the importance of coordination among departments to ensure eligible families receive benefits, including Aadhaar cards, Ration cards, Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) cards, Domicile certificates, Kisan Credit Cards (KCC), PM-Kisan Jan Dhan Accounts, Insurance coverage, Social Security schemes, and employment opportunities under MGNREGA and PM Vishwakarma. Both meetings highlighted the need for active participation from all stakeholders to ensure the campaign’s success.
