DIMANPUR: Naga People’s Front (NPF), Mokokchung division held its general meeting 2022 in the conference hall of the NPF divisional office, Mokokchung, under the chairmanship of general secretary, administration, NPF Mokokchung division, Tangit Imsong on February 25.
A press release from its media cell informed that during the meeting, NPF president, Mokokchung division, Moasangba Jamirwhile welcomed the party workers from 10 assembly constituencies of Mokokchung district.
Farmers’ Wing, central NPF president, Lanukaba encouraged the party workers to work sincerely for the party according to the political scenario and situation.
The NPF divisional general meeting reviewed the party set up at the grassroots level.
The division appreciated the leadership of Imkong L Imchen and congratulated TR Zeliang on being appointed chairman of the UDA.
It also acknowledged state chief minister for awarding cabinet minister to Y.M. Yollow Konyak and congratulated the minister on the new assignment.
Further, the house resolved that the division supported the decision of NPF working committee headed by NPF president, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsü for inviting all regional forces to unite.
