India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the spell of heavy rainfall over North East region during next five days.
In its daily bulletin, the Met department stated that fairly widespread light/moderate rainfall with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorm/lightning was very likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during August 27-29 and over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam & Meghalaya during August 26-29.
It also predicted isolated very heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam & Meghalaya on August 27, 2022.
