Seminar on ‘GST: issues and implications’ at PGC

Seminar on Goods and Services Tax (GST) was conducted at Phek Government College (PGC) by the seminar and research committee on July 29 at Deo Nukhu hall, with assistant professors from the department of Economics as panellists.
Assistant professor, Dr Thejotalu Nienu gave an introduction on “What is GST?” and assistant professor, Temjenmeren Jamir, spoke on the “Issues of GST” while head of department, Economics, Neiwe Mero, spoke on the “Impact of GST” .
The seminar was moderated by Dr. Koktiba Sangtam from the department of Political science and was concluded with an interactive session where various interesting questions were raised both by teaching faculty and students.
