Quincentennial celebration of Protestantism

Clark Theological College (CTC) would be celebrating 500th anniversary (quincentennial) of Protestantism for which a prayer was organised on July 28.
In a press release, Clark Theological College has informed that the celebration would be marked by 95 days of remembering Luther’s 95 theses by way of putting up one thesis every day, beginning July 28, on the wall of the College’s main building.
It said the celebration would culminate on October 31 with a daylong grand programme comprising of a thanksgiving service, academic symposium around Luther’s life and theology and its relevance today, and finally a musical night as a tribute to Luther – the musician and hymn writer.
It said the event revolves around Luther’s most foundational theology: “Saved by Grace”.
