KUD to hold candle light vigil today

Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ union Dimapur (ENPUD) has informed that the Konyak Union Dimapur would be observing a candle light vigil on December 4 at 5 p.m. at Konyak Community Centre, Purana Bazaar in memory of those killed by security forces on December 4 and 5, 2021 in Mon district.
Further, as directed by Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation, the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ union Dimapur has also asked all the Eastern Nagas residing in Dimapur to hoist black flag on every house on December 4 & 5, and to pray for the bereaved families and for peaceful environment to prevail in Eastern Nagaland region.
Meanwhile, the union has asked all seven tribal unions to attend the candle light vigil positively.
