Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) office bearers led by its president called on principal secretary, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Himato Zhimomi, on May 1 at the latter’s office chamber, and apprised him of “lack of maintenance, municipal functioning and other developmental activities of Dimapur Urban City.”
In a press release, Naga Council Dimapur general secretary, L K. Peter Anal said the team was impressed by “warm welcoming and enthusiastic gesture” of Himato Zhimomi, and having confidence in NCD in assisting Dimapur district administration as a whole and in particular Dimapur Urban Development and Municipal Affairs.
Naga Council Dimapur said Zhimomi also urged the members to support the government programmes and activities to achieve targeted developments in time.
NCD said the team and Zhimomi had a “lengthy and healthy discussions, sharing views and opinions for the development of Urban and Municipal Affairs of Dimapur City.”
