Power outage in parts of state

Department of Power has informed that power supply to Lerie colony Kohima, Southern Angami Area, Chakhabama area and Chozuba area has been affected after the 33kV Kohima Ring Main-2 and 33kV Chakhabama feeders collapsed due to landslide near Mohonkhola, Kohima.

In a press release, transmission division Kohima, executive engineer informed that restoration of the lines was likely to be delayed since the landslide was still continuing.
Further, 33kV AP-1 feeder has also been affected due to landslide near Sechu, Zubza affecting the power Supply to Peren district and Medzipema area.
The department has requested all consumers and public to bear the inconvenience caused.
