Vacation Bible School (VBS) organized by Sumi Baptist Church, Kohima (SBCK) with its aim to foster spiritual awareness was held from June 30 to July 5 under the theme “Looking unto Jesus” Heb 12: 2. Over 450 children registered for the occasion.
Stating that though a school takes major role in instilling moral values, the Church too plays an important role in molding the children, and therefore appealed all school authority to have uniform vacation to enable school going children to attend the event next year.
During the vacation school children were engaged with various activities; learning the word of God, language, singing gospel songs etc. Apart from such they were also exposed to creative activities and debates wherein, they could hone their individual talents.
