In-service training for RD officials

In-service training for the 6th batch of RD officials on Rural Development Foundation Course commenced at SIRD, Kohima on May 6.
The inaugural session was chaired by Dr. Rokosuno Kintso, senior lecturer, SIRD. A brief overview of the course and its importance was highlighted by the course director, Dr. Kedise Pucho, principal, ETC Phek.
K. Inazhe Phuleshe, Addl director, RD while delivering the welcome address encouraged the trainees to be dedicated in their official duties. Two separate sessions on financial rules and office procedures were conducted by Khinyi Woch, Sr. Accounts Officer (Retd) and Andreas Ezung, Under Secretary respectively. Altogether a total of 30 trainees from the department of Rural Development attended the training programme.
The Foundation Course will be conducted in three phases for a span of three months.
