BJYM to launch 16-day Seva Pakhwada campaign

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Nagaland, has announced a 16-day Seva Pakhwada campaign from September 17 to October 2, 2025 commemorating the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a series of statewide service-oriented activities.
Addressing media persons at the BJP office, Supermarket, BJYM leaders outlined the campaign schedule, beginning with a blood donation drive in Dimapur, Kohima, and Mokokchung. All donations will be digitally recorded via a portal linked to the Prime Minister’s Office to ensure transparency.
From September 17 to 25, 2025 health camps will be conducted in Dimapur, Noksen, Wokha, and Phek. On September 19–20, BJYM will organize an exhibition and a public address on “Develop India,” alongside the distribution of books authored by Prime Minister Modi.
A tree plantation drive across all 14 districts is scheduled for September 25, coordinated by the BJP Kisan Morcha. The day will also feature a commemorative event in honour of BJP founding leader Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. On September 27, BJYM will host a felicitation programme to recognize eminent personalities and persons with disabilities from Nagaland.
The campaign will culminate on October 2 with a mass cleanliness drive across all 60 mandals, followed by tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri at Khadi House, Burma Camp.
As part of the initiative, BJYM will also organize a marathon titled “Run for a Drug-Free Nagaland” on September 20 in Dimapur. BJYM president Khekato informed that over 1,700 participants aged 13 to 65 have registered online.
The marathon will begin at Dimapur Government College playground, pass through City Tower and Khermahal, and conclude at DDSC Stadium.
The event’s brand ambassador is Laimong Konyak, a young footballer from Nagaland who has played for I-League clubs.
