AKM keeps ultimatum in abeyance

DIMAPUR, SEP 19 (NPN)

Ao Students’ Conference (AKM), which had served a five-day ultimatum on the department of school education concerning RMSA teachers 2016 batch on September 14, said its ultimatum would “remain in abeyance.”
AKM president Lanutoshi Aier and general secretary Satemmongba stated that the decision was taken after consultation and in consideration of the unified stand taken by Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) at its emergency presidential council meeting.
Reaffirming solidarity with RMSA teachers 2016, AKM said it would abide by the collective decision and timeline already set forth by NSF, which granted ten-day period to the government for necessary action. AKM, therefore, appealed the state government to treat the issue with the urgency it deserves and resolve the matter within the stipulated timeframe.
