The Nagaland Sepaktakraw Association (NASTA) has extended congratulations to Mudotsu Dozo for his outstanding achievement as part of the Indian Men’s Sepaktakraw Team at the 6th South Asian Sepaktakraw Championship, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from February 6 to 11.
Dozo, representing Nagaland, played a pivotal role in India’s success, helping the team secure two gold medals in the Team event and Regu event. His performance has brought pride not only to the state but also to the nation, underlining Nagaland’s growing contribution to the sport at the international level.
In its congratulatory message, the Association lauded Dozo’s dedication, discipline and commitment to the game, acknowledging his significant contribution to the Indian Sepaktakraw team’s victory. It further expressed confidence in his continued success as he prepares for upcoming challenges.
Currently, Dozo is in the India camp for the 20th Asian Games, where he will continue training and honing his skills alongside the national squad. The Association wished him the very best for future competitions, emphasizing that his achievements serve as an inspiration for young athletes in Nagaland and across the country.
