SFS Higher Secondary School clinch ASMITA U-16 City League title

SFS Higher Secondary School, Medziphema emerged as the champions of the ASMITA Under-16 City League 2026, hosted by the Chümoukedima District Football Association (CDFA) and organised by the Nagaland Football Association (NFA) under the aegis of the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
Altogether, six teams participated in the tournament namely Immanuel School (Chümoukedima), Mount Mary Hr. Sec. School (Chümoukedima), Nagaland Police Central School (Chümoukedima), SFS Hr. Sec. School (Medziphema), All Nagaland Private School Association and North Town Hr. Sec. School. After a series of competitive matches, Nagaland Police Central School finished as runners-up, while SFS Hr. Sec. School lifted the championship trophy.
The inaugural programme was graced by advisor of ANPSA Chümoukedima Unit, Bendang Pongen, who encouraged young players to pursue excellence in football. The closing ceremony was attended by press secretary to MP Rajya Sabha, Phangnon Konyak, Tenyibinlo Himb, who lauded the efforts of the organisers and participants in promoting grassroots football.
