Azo inaugurates Phek village community cemetery

DIMAPUR: Advisor for Science & Technology, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, MLA, inaugurated the Phek Village Community Cemetery at Kalozi, Phek, on June 12. Addressing the gathering, Azo said the cemetery was a long-cherished dream of the village and its completion was made possible through the unity and collective efforts of the community. He urged villagers to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of the facility. Speaking on the occasion, Phek Village Council chairman Thupuve Vero lauded Azo for his contributions towards the welfare and development of the village, particularly his support for the poor and needy.
Earlier, the dedicatory prayer was offered by Pastor of Phek Village Baptist Church, Rev. Vesito Venuh. The programme was chaired by Veshe Chizo, while the financial report was presented by Veta Soho.
