DIMAPUR, JUN 24 (NPN): Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio and his deputies Yanthungo Patton and T R Zeliang called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The leaders discussed issues related to security, development and inter-state relations with the home minister, officials said.
“Chief Minister of Nagaland Shri @Neiphiu_Rio and Deputy Chief Ministers of Nagaland Shri @YanthungoPatton and Shri @TRZeliang called on the Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri @AmitShah today,” the office of the Home Minister posted on X.
In a social media post, Patton said “We are grateful for his time and for his continued concern and attention towards the welfare and aspirations of the people of Nagaland. Such engagements strengthen the spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding between the Centre and the State, enabling us to work together for the progress, peace, and well-being of our people.”
