DIMAPUR, JUL (NPN): The Kohima District Badminton Association (KDBA) has announced the launch of the 1st edition of the Kohima District High School Badminton Tournament, scheduled to be held from July 9 to 11 at the Indoor Stadium, Officers’ Hill Thegabakha, Kohima.
The three-day event is designed to promote the sport of badminton among young athletes, foster healthy competition and provide a platform for students across the district to showcase their talent and sportsmanship. Both private and government schools from Kohima will participate, making the tournament a vibrant celebration of badminton and community spirit.
The association has extended invitation to badminton enthusiasts, supporters and the general public to attend the tournament and cheer for the athletes. KDBA expressed gratitude to players, officials, sponsors, volunteers and supporters for their contributions, emphasizing its commitment to making the tournament a memorable success.
