BJP lodges police complaint against Cong for targeting Nitin

NEW DELHI, AUG 26 (PTI): Delhi BJP on Wednesday lodged a police complaint against the Congress for allegedly circulating a “false and misleading” social media post targeting BJP president Nitin Nabin.
BJP leaders, including south Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, met the DCP (central) and demanded that a case be filed against the Congress for disseminating “misleading propaganda” on social media claiming that Nitin Nabin consumed non-vegetarian food during the holy month of Shravan while on a tour to south India, a party statement said.
“It is unfortunate that parties like the Congress, Samajwadi Party and Aam Aadmi Party, which are unable to politically compete with the BJP, are misusing social media and influencers to make baseless allegations,” Bidhuri said.
However, no matter how hard the opposition tries, its “malicious propaganda” will never succeed, he said.
