90.8 Hills FM marks fourth anniv as ‘The Voice of Change’

90.8 Hills FM, Nagaland’s first community radio station, on September 8 celebrated its fourth anniversary, marking four years of broadcasting and community service since its establishment on September 8, 2022.
Over the past four years, the station has developed into a platform for information, education, entertainment and community engagement, collaborating with government departments, organisations and community groups on issues concerning the people of Nagaland.
The station has conducted various awareness campaigns and programmes focusing on environmental and forest conservation, public health, road safety, disaster preparedness, sanitation, culture, education and social welfare. Through partnerships and community initiatives, it has used radio, social media and digital platforms to make relevant information more accessible to the public.
Beyond its broadcasting activities, 90.8 Hills FM has also provided a platform for local voices, artists, musicians, young people and community initiatives, contributing to the promotion of local talent and stories.
As it enters its fifth year, the station said it remains committed to strengthening community partnerships, expanding its outreach and using community radio as a means to encourage positive change.
The station expressed gratitude to its listeners, partners, contributors and supporters for being part of its journey over the past four years.
