ANCSU ultimatum over delayed scholarship

All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has served an ultimatum on the department of Higher Education to disburse State Merit Scholarship (Post Matric) 2021 within 14 days.

In an ultimatum addressed to the director higher education, the ANCSU president Vimeyiekho Vitso and assistant general secretary Inagha Kinny alleged that it has been the “trend of the department to introduce new excuses year after year on delaying the disbursement of scholarship to the students”.

ANCSU said it was anguished by yet another delay for disbursement of State Merit Scholarship 2021. Failure to disburse the scholarship within the stipulated period, ANCSU threatened to resort to “any befitting democratic protest of the day.”
