ANSTA asks units to visit non performing govt. schools

All Nagaland School Teachers Association (ANSTA) has directed its units and sub units officials to visit all government schools, under respective jurisdictions, which have produced nil results in the recently concluded HSLC examination 2018.
A press release by ANSTA president, Ponchulo Wanth and general secretary, Visato Koso said the decision was unanimously arrived at during the association’s May 24 executive meeting, as an attempt to improve academic performance of government schools.
ANSTA has instructed unit officials to ascertain the reasons/factors responsible for the nil results of the concerned schools during their visit and submit their visit report to the central office within a month.
It said that report/findings will be compiled and submitted to the “higher ups” for necessary remedial measures.
